A place with diverse offerings in artistic vibe is “Cubao Expo”

クバオエキスポは1977年に行われたマリキナ・シュー･エキスポがその前身。U字型に建設された当時の建物を新たにアーティステックな雰囲気で再構成し2000年にクバオエキスポとして新たにスタート。レストランやカフェ、ブティック、バー、アートギャラリー、リサイクルショップなど様々な専門店が集う個性的なコミュニティーへと進化しました。画家や写真家、コレクター、ミュージシャンなど多くの文化人にも親しまれ音楽や演劇などのイベントも行われています。
クバオエキスポの隣にあるアートインアイランドは自分が写り込んだトリックアートが楽しめる人気スポットです。
Cubao Expo formerly the finest Marikina Shoe Expo in the country opened in 1972, closeing down in 1977 but eventually it re-opened in 2000 with a fresh start. Cubao Expo has evolved into a bustling community of restaurants, café, specialty stores, boutiques, bars, art galleries and thrift shops. Its diverse offering makes Cubao Expo well known among writers, painters, photographers, collectors, indie musicians and just about anyone who go to events held once in while in the area.
Next to the Cubao Expo is “Art In Island”. A popular spot where you can enjoy “illusion art.”
