自分の体が地面から浮き上がり、風に運ばれていく。まるで鳥になったように全身に風を感じながら大空を駆ける。そんな究極のスリリングな体験ができるのが、ハイファイブ・パラグライディングです。同社は、30年以上の実績とタンデムパラグライディングの国際ライセンスを持つドイツ人インストラクター のウーヴェ・クラインさんが2013年に設立しました。
乾季（10月～５月）は、リサール州カルドナが舞台。約450メートル上空から光輝くラグナ湖を眺めることができます。雨季（６月～９月）は、カビテとパンパンガで実施（現在開発中）。いずれもフィリピンの自然の絶景を堪能し、未知の世界を体験できる10分間です。
敷居が高いスカイスポーツのように思えるパラグライディングですが、最低20キログラムの体重の条件を満たしていれば、５歳の子どもでも体験できます。また、体力、健康上の問題がなければ、高齢者や体の不自由な人もＯＫ。ペットの小型犬と一緒に飛ぶことだってできます。

Everyone wants to be swept off their feet, but have you ever thought about actually feeling your body lift from the ground and get carried by the wind? Whether or not you have, Tandem Paragliding with High 5 Paragliding is an experience that definitely goes above and beyond.
With more than 30 years of experience and an International Tandem License, High 5 Paragliding gives the highest level of safety for everyone to ensure a memorable experience. It was founded in 2013 by Uwe Klein and after a few years, Buco Raymundo and Max Lee joined him.
Each paragliding session is a 10-minute breathtaking excursion up to 450 meters in the sky where you can see the world in a way you’ve never seen before. Since it is highly dependent on the weather, the 2 seasons in the Philippines are taken into account. The Cardona, Rizal site is where you can book during this dry season (Oct. to May) and see the sun-kissed Laguna de Bay sparkle from the sky. Other sites in Cavite and Pampanga are available during the wet season or are currently under development. Each site showcases the beauty and wonder of Philippine nature with different views like mountains and grasslands.
Although this sport can be intimidating, children as young as 5 years old can already fly as long as they meet the minimum 20 kg weight requirement. Seniors and PWDs are also welcome if they are physically fit, can run, and have no health problems. You can even opt to fly with your adorable puppies or small dogs—just make sure to inform High 5 Paragliding beforehand.
