太い麺に分厚いチャーシュー、キャベツにもやし、ニンニクをたっぷりトッピング。本家ラーメン二郎はこってりスープが有名ですが、こちら武蔵の二郎系はややこってり度抑え目で完食しやすくなっています。また、ニンニクヤサイマシマシアブラカラメ！といった二郎独特のコールをする必要がないのも初心者にとっては安心です。日本でラーメン二郎に行きたくても行けなかった方、ぜひ武蔵で挑戦してください。二郎系ラーメンを目的に行くのももちろんOKですが、武蔵にはさまざまな本格日本料理もそろっているので、そちらも一緒に楽しみましょう。

How many types of Japanese ramen have you eaten so far? If you are an avid ramen lover, you’ve probably tried the Tonkotsu (pork bone broth), Shoyu (soy sauce flavor), Shio (salt flavor), and Miso variants, but did you know that there is one kind that’s distinctly unique?
Ramen Jiro is known for its large portion with thick noodles, rich soup, thickly-sliced char-siu pork, and generously topped with cabbage and bean sprouts. Its name came from a Ramen shop that originated in Tokyo 57 years ago. Those obsessed even started calling themselves “Jirorian,” and its overwhelming popularity produced the Jiro-Kei Ramen (Jiro-style/Jiro-inspired); ultimately making it a genre of its own.
Jiro-Kei ramen’s fame has been steady in Japan and has since spread overseas. Now, it has made its way to Manila at Musashi Japanese restaurant located in Poblacion, Makati. It opened last February and is currently one of the few restaurants in the city where you can enjoy this ramen. The Jiro-Kei ramen in Musashi is perfect for beginners of this genre because they made it simple and easy, but satisfying for the taste buds and filling for the stomach.
Though there are still many who have yet to experience Jiro-kei ramen, it is only a matter of time before enthusiasts in Manila call themselves Jirorians like those in Japan.
