「七夕の妻」上映決定！　於・TIUまにら新聞劇場

2018年トファームフィルムフェスティバルで9冠、先月開催された大阪アジアン映画祭にも出品された話題作「七夕の妻」の上映が決定。上映は6月の予定で場所はマカティシネマスクエア2階のTIUシアター・まにら新聞劇場。チケットのお申し込みやお問い合わせはまにら新聞広告部まで。
原作は1930年代に出版されたバギオ生まれの作家シナイ・ハマダの短編小説。日本から移り住んで農業に励む中年男の七夕はある日、職を求め歩く山岳民族の娘ファサンを家政婦として雇い入れる。生活を共にするうちにやがて惹かれあい二人は結婚し息子も生まれる。しかし、若いファサンはしばしばバギオの街に出かけるようになる。そしてついには男と駆け落ちしてしまう。自暴自棄になる七夕。一方ファサンも男に捨てられ苦境に立っていた。日本へ帰っての死を選択した七夕だが最後にもう一度息子に会いたいとファサンを探しに出る…
日本の巨匠・黒澤明監督や小津安二郎監督にインスパイアされた映像美も見どころ。セリフは日本語とタガログ語。どこか現代にもつながるような日本男性とフィリピン女性の紆余曲折の恋愛物語。ぜひご覧ください。

The original is a short story of Baguio-born writer Sinai Hamada published in the 1930s. The highlight is the visual beauty inspired by Japanese master director Akira Kurosawa and Yasuziro Ozu. The languages are Japanese and Tagalog. A love story of the twists and turns of Japanese men and Filipino women that would lead to the present age. Please see it.
