　@Tokyoを展開する Lucerne Group（ルサーングループ）は、フィリピンでロレックスなどの腕時計や、ライカのカメラ、スタインウェイピアノといった世界の一流ブランドを扱う会社です。ディレクターのヤオさんに＠Tokyoに込めた思いをうかがいました。

 

 

 

東京にいる気分でショッピングを

 

 

　もともとフィリピン人の間でアジアでの海外旅行の行き先といえば、香港でした。それが2014年にビザ（査証）が緩和されて日本へ旅行する人が増え、日本で買った服やアクセサリー、バッグを身に着けるフィリピン人が増えました。そうした状況の中で当社が最初に扱った日本のファッションブランドが、アネロ（anello）のバッグ。アネロはフィリピンで現在33店を展開しています。

 

 

 

 

 

　日本のファッションブランドがフィリピンで人気が出るのを見て、2018年に１つの店でさまざまな日本ブランドを扱う＠Tokyoの第１号店をBGCのアップタウンモールにオープンしました。現在はバッグ、アクセサリー、腕時計などファッションから日用品まで10のブランドを扱っています。＠Tokyoは現在17店舗を展開しており、商品のディスプレイに気を配り、きれいで落ち着いた店内であたかも東京にいるようにショッピングを楽しんでもらえることを心がけています。また、大切な人への贈り物として選べる商品をそろえ、贈る喜びを提供するのも私たちがめざすことです。　

 

 

ほかの店にはない品ぞろえのこだわり 　

 

 

　＠Tokyo で扱うブランド、製品は当社が慎重に選び抜いたもの。その基準は、ファッショナブルであり、流行の先端を走っていて、そして本当に良い価値があるもの。例えば、当店ではセイコーやカシオG ショック の腕時計の限定版をそろえています。フィリピンのほかの店では売っていません。

 

　私たちは日本を何度も訪れ、多くの日本の企業とのビジネスを通じて、日本の文化を学んできました。そしてフィリピン市場ではどのような製品が受け入れられるかを知っています。コロナ禍の生でも常時さまざまな案件が進んでおり、@Tokyoの新規出店は継続しています。今後は郊外への出店にも注力していきます。なお、実は当社はファッションだけでなく日本製の内装や床材なども扱っています。フィリピン市場への参入をめざす日本企業の方には、業種を問わず、連絡をいただけたらと思います。

Understanding Japanese culture,
Expertise in the Philippine Market

 

It was originally Hong Kong that was a popular overseas travel destination in Asia among Filipino people. As the Japanese government eased the visa restriction for tourists in 2014, the number of Filipino people visiting Japan increased and they brought Japanese brand apparel, accessories, and bags to the Philippines, which they bought in Japan.

The first Japanese brand item we brought to the Philippines is anello bags.There are 33 anello stores now thoroughout the Philippines.　As we realised Japanese brands has been well- received by Filipino people, we opened the first @ Tokyo store at Uptown Mall, BGC.

 At @Tokyo Uptown Mall store, we deal with 10 Japanese brand items now, such as bags, watches, accessories etc.　There are 17 @Tokyo stores in the Philippines.

In our clean store with beautiful display of items and relaxing atmosphere, we would like customers to feel as if they were shopping in Tokyo. it is a concept of @Tokyo.

Our selection of items is good for gifts as well as buying for your own.　We offer customers a joy of gifting.

We carefully choose items to bring to the Philippines.　They must be fashionable, trendy, and good value, not necessarily a luxury.

For example, we have a lineup of limited editions of Seiko and Casio watches. They are only sold in @Tokyo.　
We travel to Japan many times. We have been working with a lot of Japanese companies. We have learned Japanese culture through our experiences.

We also expertise in the Philippine market, especially the upscale market with wealthy people.　Despite the pandemic, we have a lot of business opportunities with potential partners, proceeding the opening of   new outlets of @ Tokyo. In mid – May, a new @Tokyo opened in SM Davao. We plan to expand our outlets to suburbs.

 Our company deals with not only fashion brands but also Japanese interior materials and floor tiles as a distributor in the Philippine market.
