1000歩でめぐるフィリピン各地の魅力

　“Lakbay”はタガログ語であてもなく旅する、放浪の旅などの意味で、食べ物や伝統文化を学びながら「フィリピン各地を1000歩でめぐる」体験型ミュージアム。ルソン、ビサヤ、ミンダナオ各地方の伝統衣装を着たスタッフが、地方ごとの展示を回りながら陽気にガイドしてくれる。伝統舞踊を盛り込んだダンスショーもあり、スタッフが一番楽しそうに盛り上がっているのが、いかにもフィリピンあるあるである。

　実は行く前にウェブサイトを見たところ、カーソルがフィッシュボール（？）だったり、カラフルでポップすぎたりと分かりにくく、正直不安だたが、行けば老若男女問わず楽しめること間違いなし！　爆発的に近代化が進むマカティで見慣れた光景も首都圏の文化として紹介されていてうれしくなる。民芸品や伝統衣装が大好きな筆者はすっかり心をつかまれ、予想をはるかに超えて心底楽しんでいる自分に驚いたほど。海あり山あり、多様で多彩な文化に溢れるフィリピンの魅力を再発見できて、きっと“Lakbay”したくなるはず！

Travel around the Philippines in the Museum

“Lakbay” means “wandering journey,” and Lakbay Museo allows visitors to “travel around the Philippines in 1000 steps” while learning about and experiencing traditional culture and regional food. Staff in traditional costumes from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will guide you to each regional exhibit. You can also enjoy the traditional dance show.

All exhibits were quite cultivated and I really enjoyed everything at Lakbay Museo far more than I expected! You will rediscover the attractiveness of the Philippines with its diverse and variety of cultures, and find your next travel destinations!

民芸品や地方のワイン、定番のバナナチップスやフィリピン料理用調味料などが並ぶ、見るだけでも楽しいお土産屋さん。ミュージアムに入場しなくても入店可。 A souvenir shop with folk art, regional wines etc. You can shop here without entering the museum.
