　この店の名前を聞くと、マニラ出身のフィリピン人の多くが「子どもの頃に親と行った」と懐かしむ。中国・広東省で教師をしていたマ・モンルク（馬文祿）氏がマニラに移住後、1920年に創業したマモンルク。看板メニューはスープ麺マミ。チキンベースのスープに平たい細麺、やわらかい鳥肉のトッピング。シンプルであっさりとした味わいの一品は世代を超えて親しまれている。
