AKB、MNL、BMW、USAなどアルファベット3文字の名前は覚えやすく、浸透しやすいようだ。そして今、マカティのアヤラアベニュー界隈では「TKB」が注目されているらしい。TKB=The Kushi Bar。ラム酒でおなじみのタンドゥアイによる初の日本料理店で腕をふるうのは日本人シェフのYuri Amamiさん。看板メニューの串料理をはじめ、寿司、刺身、麺類、丼物、カレーライスなど幅広いメニューが揃っている。ドリンクは、タンドゥアイのダークやプレミアムホワイトのラムをベースにしたカクテルTKBショットがおすすめ。TKBショットは5種類あり、青森(リンゴわさび)、徳島(ジンジャーカラマンシ)、熊本(スイカバジル)、宮崎(きゅうりバジル)、長野(レモンあんず)、愛媛(青りんごキウィフルーツ)と、日本の県名がカクテルの名前になっているのもユニーク。カクテルバーとしてはもちろん、ランチやディナータイムに食事もしっかり楽しめるTKBへぜひ。 (K)

TKB is The Kushi Bar, the first restaurant venture and Japanese concept store by Tanduay Brands International, Inc. Kushi is a Japanese dish, which is skewered and grilled and deep fried vegetables, meat and seafood. TKB specializes in kushi dishes and Tanduay rum based cocktails named after Japanese prefectures such as Aomori, Nagano etc. TKB also offers a wide variety of Japanese food such as udon, soba, ramen noodles, sushi, tempura and more.
