親友から譲り受けたペルシャネコ×シャムネコが
私がネコ好きになった理由

友人からペルシャネコとシャムネコのミックスのメイシーを2019年に譲り受けたのが、ネコを飼い始めたきっかけです。それまでは動物好きではなかったのですが、メイシーのおかげでネコが好きになり、今は８匹飼っています。

「何よ」とでもいいたげなマッチャちゃん

控えめな性格のメイシーは、寝ているときにハグされるのが好き。ドナルドもハグ好きですが、家のそこら中にマーキングをするという男の子っぽい一面を見せます。プリンセスはエネルギー溢れる子で、遊ぶのが大好き。ダグルは物静かで、顔を洗うのが好きみたいです。マッチャはやんちゃな性格をしていて、人と触れ合うのはあまり好きではなく、窓越しに外のネコとよく闘っています。

餌は基本的に、朝はドライフード、夜はドライとウェットを混ぜたものをあげています。時々魚とカボチャを料理してあげていて、餌代は月4,000～5,000ペソ。手間とお金はかかりますが、愛情と責任を持って飼っています。ネコは仕事から疲れて帰って来た時に私を癒してくれる存在であり、家庭を明るくしてくれていることは間違いありません。

Persian x Siamese Given by Best Friend is the Reason I became a Cat Person

My best friend gave me a mixed cat of Persian and Siamese descent, which is Maessie, and she was my first cat as a pet. I was not an animal lover, but thanks to her, I became a cat lover, and now my family has eight cats.
Maessie is modest and likes to hug while sleeping. Donald also likes to hug, but he has a side to give scent marking at every corner. Princess is energetic and playful, while Dagul is the silent one and likes to rub his head. Matcha is not so gentle with both humans and cats. She is always willing to fight with other cats outside through the window.

They have dry food in the morning and mixed dry and wet food at night. We sometimes cook fish and squash for them. The monthly meal cost is around 4,000-5,000 pesos. Though it takes time and money, I am responsible for taking care of them. They brought joy to me and to my family too; it gives me a feeling of comfort, reduces my stress when I’m tired after a whole day of work, and eases my exhaustion.
