　島へのボートを渡すフォーチュンアイランドリゾートには宿泊施設もあり、料金的にも安い。筆者は3,000ペソの３人部屋にひとりで泊まった。入ったらひんやりエアコンが効いていて心地よく、替えたばかりのベッドシーツのいい匂い。部屋にはダブルベッド１つ、シングルベッド２つ、洗面台、まずまずキレイなトイレ、温水の出るシャワーと最低限の設備はある。シャワーを浴びて寝るだけなら十分なクオリティだ。ただし、シャンプーやハミガキ、トイレットペーパーなどの消耗品はないので、持参していくか、すぐ近くのサリサリストアで買い求めよう。

　なお経営者が韓国人というだけあって、リゾート内に韓国焼き肉（サムギョプサル）の屋外レストランもある。韓国しゃぶしゃぶ（１人399ペソ）がオススメらしい。

　筆者はせっかくだからちょっと冒険しようと、トライシクル運転手にローカルレストランを紹介してもらった。そして行ったのがリゾートから南に1.5キロ先のフィリピン料理レストラン「カイナン・サ・ダランパシガン」。シチューのような海老料理（400ペソ）を堪能した。

Fortune Island Resort has inexpensive accommodations. I stayed at a room good for 3 persons for 3,000 pesos. When I entered the room, the air was cool and comfortable thanks to the air conditioning, and the bed sheets were freshly changed. The room had a double bed, two single beds, a washbasin, clean toilet, shower with hot water. The quality of the room is good enough if you just want to take a shower and sleep.

However, there are no toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste, or toilet paper, so bring your own or buy them at nearby Sari-Sari Stores.

The resort has an outdoor restaurant serving Korean barbeque (samgyeopsal). Korean shabu-shabu (399 pesos per person) is a signature dish.
