　３日目はアイランドリゾートならではの醍醐味、お待ちかねのホンダベイ・アイランドホッピング！「ホンダ」は日本語ではなく、スペイン語で「深い」の意味。青い空に真っ白な入道雲、さんさんと降り注ぐ太陽に透き通る海。海水浴もよし、ビーチでくつろぐもよし。これぞ絵にかいたような南国パラダイス、ひたすらのんびり「何もしない喜び」を満喫しよう！

Honda Bay Island hopping is definitely the highlight of our trip ! The name Honda is not Japanese but means ‘deep’ in Spanish. Bright sunshine in the blue sky and crystal clear waters await you.Indulge yourself in sunbathing and the sweetness of doing nothing. The suntan will fade on your body, but the memories will last forever in your mind.

Starfish Island

島の名前の由来はヒトデがたくさん生息しているからだそう。そのまま。写真は「チョコレートチップスター」。

There are a lot of starfishes on this island so that the island is called Starfish Island ! The starfish shown in the photo is called Chocolate Chip Star.

潮で姿が変わる島

Luli Island

ルリ（Luli）という名前は、タガログ語 “Lulubog, Lilitaw（水に現れたり消えたりする)”に由来。潮の満ち引きで島の形が変わる。３つの島で一番小さい。

Among three islands, this is the smallest one. The name comes from a Tagalog word “Lulubog, Lilitaw” as it changes its shape with the ebb and flow of the tide.

Cowrie Island

３つの島の中で海水浴に最も適しているカウリー島。水温もちょうどよく、透明度抜群。浅瀬に座ってゆったり波に身を任せたり、海辺でカクテルを片手に景色を眺めたりするだけでも十分。

With a comfortable water temperature and clean water, Cowrie Island is the most suitable for swimming among the three islands.

島の名前になったCowrie shell（タカラガイ）。 The island is named after cowrie shells.

　アイランドホッピングの登録やボートの申し込みは、Day２の地下河川国立公園の登録と同じ場所。各島の入島料は現地で支払う。今回はコロナ禍のため料金は安かったが、ボートの燃料の高騰などでも変動することがあるので、現地で要確認。ホンダベイには13の島があり、うち４つが一般に開放されているが、コロナ禍の影響で７月下旬時点で回れたのは３つの島のみ。

When going on the Honda Bay island hopping, you can register and book a boat at the same
reception as the Underground River. Admission fee is payable on each island you visit. There are 13 islands in the Honda Bay and four of them are open to visitors.
